- Excellent "debut"

Aaron Lines is a man in love and it reflects in his music. He has been touring and winning over fans in Canada for years and now it's time for the US to meet him with his major label debut. There are a couple of songs on this CD that are carryovers from his independent label Canadian CD - Love Changes Everything. "Love Changes Everything" is a very pop-influenced song about doing the right thing, and being a better person for it. The title track of this CD is an upbeat song about seizing the moment. Most people will recognize Aaron from his first US song "You Can't Hide Beautiful", a great song about the perfection of being imperfect. "Close" is a great ballad, it gives me chills. But Aaron likes to kick it up too - "I Will Be There" and "Turn It Up (I Like the Sound of That)" are both rockin' songs. Especially fun on this CD is "You Get The Picture".

Vince Gill sings "Everybody's waiting for the next big thing" and I think Aaron Lines is it!

- Aaron will be here for years to come

Aaron's first cd on a record label is so fantastic it's hard to put it in to words. Every single song shows his beautiful and sexy voice singing with emotion. He's also from Canada, which adds to the touch. I had the opportunity to meet him back in July of 2001, before he had his record deal. He is a wonderful guy with a great sense of humor. I can't wait to see what will come next from this talented and handsome newcomer. His cd is a fantastic addition to any collection of true country fans. Keep up the great work Aaron! You're doing just wonderful. Can't wait to see you again.

- Tightly crafted Top Country, with a rootsy edge...

Good-natured, rock-flavored top country with a positive, sensitive-guy romantic touch. The album's first single, "You Can't Hide Beautiful," is kind of a Nashville update of Billy Joel's old "I Love You Just The Way You Are," a painfully earnest appeal to overcome the oppressive confines of an anorexic culture... It's a little contrived, but still a welcome message. Compared to his soul-drenched, synthy Nashville contemporaries, Lines' guitar-heavy, shamelessly nostalgia-laced pop approach is practically hillbilly heaven. A pretty decent, relatively rootsy album by the standards of today's Top 40 country scene. Not bad for a fella from Canada!
