This is a great CD with 10 outstanding songs. It has more of a pop flavor than country. My personal favorite "Crossfire" is an uptempo rocker featuring some fine lead guitar work to go with the sensational harmonies of David & Howard. It was originally released on the "Plain & Fancy" album in 1977. "Crossfire" was a bigger hit in Austrailia and Europe than in the United States. Another fine song on this CD is "Satin Sheets" which was originally released on the "Let Your Love Flow" album in 1976. It too has a rock flavor that is very good. Every song on this CD is excellent and considering the price, this is the best value to be found. I consider "One Way Love" to be the best Bellamy Brothers CD in the last 10 years. Take a listen and enjoy for yourself.
I would describe this CD as a greatest hits, number 4. The songs were not written by the Bellamys, but nevertheless sound true. They were cut in Munich, and were compiled from 2 previous CDs not available before in America. As always, great harmonies, with a slightly european pop feel (horns on Save Your Love). Great, happy music. Standouts: Neon Cowboy, Crossfire, One Way Love, Save Your Love. Enjoy ! Paul LeBoutillier
