Disco de Bellamy Brothers: “Lost Tracks”
Descripción (en inglés) :
After spending most of the 1970s as a successful pop act, the Bellamy Brothers reinvented themselves for the country market in the 1980s with a succession of hits like "If I Said You Had a Beautiful Body Would You Hold It Against Me?" and "Sugar Daddy." However, this compilation goes further than a mere reissue set, containing an original version of "Spiders and Snakes," the hit the brothers wrote for Jim Stafford, and "Slippin' Away," one of their first country successes, as well as many other former singles and vintage songs previously unavailable on CD.

- Lost Tracks?....not all!
I love the Bellamy Brothers and I thought the cover of this CD was great!
HOWEVER,...
Since Amazon did not list the title tracks before its release, I was sure hoping to get all those great tunes from the Bellamy's first LP, "Let Your Love Flow" from way back in 1976. In my personal opinion, every track on that album was a jewel and deserved to be put on this "Lost Tracks" CD. But at least 3-4 of the songs on this "Lost Tracks" can be found on other CDs, some which are budget priced. I love the Bellamys, but to be honest "Too Much Is Not Enough" is one track that deserved to be lost - and stay lost. My least favorite Bellamy song.
I really wonder why the BBs went to the trouble of putting this CD out only to give us more of the same? At least "Living In The West" and "Inside of My Guitar" made it on this new release. Since you missed your chance to put truly lost tracks on this CD, you guys should consider re-issuing the orignial "Let Your Love Flow" album in it's entirity. This would be the year to do it since it has been 30 years since it came out.
If on "Lost Tracks" you had only left off "Too Much" and a few others and INCLUDED: "I'm The Only Sane Man Left Alive" "Hell Cat" "Let Fantasy Live" and "Highway 2-18", it would have been fantastic!
BOTTOM LINE: You missed an excellent opportunity to include those excellent tunes from the first classic "Let YOur Love Flow" album.
I think a lot of other fans will agree.
I am going to encourage everyone to look on the back of this "Lost Tracks" CD. You will find the Bellamys e-mail address and phone numbers. I hope every fan will call or write and try to convince the Bellamys to give us "Let Your Love Flow" on CD.
It is long,long,long over-due!

- Lost Tracks
brought back many memories / moments of my past. loved it. wish that I coult hear them again. thank you
- To Good Not to listen to.
Though i am not a true bellamy Brothers fan I heard this album at a friends and found that I enjoyed some of the tracks.
I purchased the CD and could find nothing that I did not enjoy from Spiders and Snakes which i had not related to the Bellamys to Livin in The West. This album is full of great songs and they offer a variety that is well worth listening to.
I truly recomend this album wether you are a fan or not.

- Lost and Found
After looking for most of the tracks for the better part of 20 years, it was such a pleasure to get them all on one album and the memories they brought back.
