- Back and better than ever!
Billy Dean had taken a long hiatus from the music scene to focus on his most important role to date - father to his children, Hannah and Eli. The life he's experienced watching his children grow was the inspiration behind the title track to his long awaited new studio album, "Let Them Be Little." The single, which was Billy's first top ten in nine years, has re-established the singer with his fanbase and brought on a whole new generation of listeners. This CD from Curb Records highlights the place where Billy is at in life - he's in love, happy in life, and enjoying making music!
From the ballads of "I'm In Love With You" (an ode to falling in love with the woman of his dreams) and "Slow Motion" (the groom's perspective on watching his soon to be wife walking down the aisle), Billy seemlessly blends his musical styles to bring us the uptempo songs of love and life of "Eyes" (on the first thing he noticed in his fiance) and "This Is The Life" (the next single and a new spin on the adage of enjoying life while the living is good). Billy also takes us on a musical field trip, back to his days as a kid himself growing up on "Shelfer Street" and then to the ballpark to his own field of dreams while he's "Swinging For The Fence." For John Denver fans, the rollicking remake of "Thank God I'm A Country Boy" is worth the cost of the CD alone. Last but not least are the two most rowdy rockers of the bunch, which showcase a different aspect of Billy's voice and experiences. "Good Love Gone Bad" is a hard charging uptempo story of love lost and none too soon, and "Race You To The Bottom" highlights the deepest range of his voice to amazing results to tell the story of the cut-throat corporate world. As an added bonus, remastered tracks of two of Billy's biggest hits of the nineties, "Somewhere In My Broken Heart" and "Billy The Kid" are included as bonus tracks.
Having written or co-written all but the John Denver remake, Billy leaves the listener feeling that they just sat down with a long lost friend to catch up on years past. This CD is a must have for your collection if you've ever been a fan of Billy's, or if his recent material made you want to get to know him better! "Let Them Be Little" will leave you with a smile on your face and a desire to hug your kids or kiss your sweetheart goodnight!

- THANK GOODNESS HE IS BACK!
After taking a few years off from recording and being in the spotlight to be a Dad, write songs, etc., Billy Dean is back with an awesome effort! Thank goodness! I know a lot of people may hate what I am about to say but I believe this......Billy Dean has more grit and spirit in his music than both George Strait and Brooks & Dunn combined! I think they are OVERRATED!!!!!! Billy Dean is what music is all about.......he wrote all but one on this album (Thank God I'm A Country Boy.....remake). It contains both upbeat songs as well as wonderful ballads delivered excellently in his baritone voice.......he is at the top of his game! Glad to have you back Billy!

- EXCELLENT
One of his best CD's. Has a couple of his old tracks in there at the end too. Every song is a winner. I wish he was having a concert near where I live. I DEFINITELY recommend this CD. If you like Billy Dean you will absolutely OVE this CD. If you like country music you will LOVE this CD. I bought it, put it on my computer, and let my mom have the CD for her car, and now she won't give it back. It's that good. Billy Dean is back and better than ever.
- Welcome Back, Billy Dean!!
It has been 7 years since there's been a new collection of music from this very talented, yet underrated artist. I can tell you that the wait was worth it. This collection of songs stands up to the best albums in the business, including Tim McGraw, Kenny Chesney, and Gratchen Wilson. As a matter of fact, I think this album is better than anyone else's right now.
His experience in love and as a father to his two kids runs deep in this album. The raw emotion and lyrics really shine through. Every song on this album is amazing!! I also like the fact that he wrote or co-wrote all but one of the songs on this album! This album is a must-have for any country music fan! You won't be disappointed. Welcome back, Billy Dean!!!!
