Billy Ray Cyrus Album: “You Won't Be Lonely [CD5/Cassette]”

Billy Ray Cyrus is a man who has always put out great music. He is a man who has given his time, money, and heart to countless charities. He is a man that gives far more than he takes. He is also a man that has been screwed by the music industry. Because of one great, catchy tune that swept not only the nation, but the world, he was subject to more undeserved criticism than any other artist I can think of. By 1993, BRC already had 5 top 10 singles but ignorant people still called him a "One-Hit Wonder." In 1994, country radio and the music industry turned their back on BRC and refused to play his singles, although they were better than most on the charts at the time. In 1999, he parted with Mercury Records and in 2000 is ready to break new ground with his new Sony/Monument release "Southern Rain." The CD single for his first single off the new album "You Won't Be Lonely Now" is a very powerful song about dedication to love. BR puts all of his heart into every line, especially "For the first time in a long time, I look at my face in the mirror and see...the man that I've wanted to be." His vocals are outstanding in this one and this song is definate #1. If this song doesn't fly to the top of the charts, I don't know what more that man has to do to please the ... country music industry....

I have heard this song on the radio....it definitely sparks crossover from country to pop. The lyrics touch more than your ears, it touches your soul....and the emotions reach deep and gives the listener the feeling he really means every word. Great background and a sure hit.
