If you are familiar with songs of Bobby Bare, you will agree with me that this is the best compilation album consisting of a wide variety of hits by Bobby Bare and some of the best covers of popular country hits. Unlike most of his compilation album of hits, this cd contains some of the more difficult to find hits of Bare such as "Cowboys & Daddies", "Faster Horses", "Up against the wall redneck mother" and "homecoming". Bobby Bare's laid-back style really give some country classics a true to the heart sentimental touch. To me, Bobby Bare's version of "Saginaw Michigan", "Son of Hickory Holler's Tramp", "Sunday Morning Coming Down" and "Long Black Limousine" really do the songs juctice. Get this cd and give it a real good listen and you will agree with me. The recording quality is good and a cd with 20 such outstanding tracks is definitely a real good buy!
