- Classic Country Fun at it's best
Bobby Bare's Drunk & Crazy Album/CD will fill the niche for most classic country fans. From the humorous "Drinkn' and Druggn' & Watching TV" and the downright funny " Drunk & Crazy" the collection is a must have. Although recorded years ago the songs are still relevant for today. Listen for some of the great tag lines like "slid across the floor like a greasy eel" and you just have to smile.

- Cracks me up every time!
I had a copy of this album way back when it first came out and it got so worn out from playing it every time we partied that I had to retire it. I had looked for years and couldn't find another copy of the LP, nor a CD of it until now. Yea! Amazon had it!!!
It's a Bobby Bare that a lot of people aren't familiar with... the darker side of his comic wit shows through on a lot of the songs. They are NOT politically correct, but for those of us who can take a joke and not get our panties in a wad, it's hillarious. Songs with lines in them like, "Baby I'm sorry I done you like that, I called you a name and I gave you a whack, then I spit in your eye and gave your wrist a twist, but if that ain't love what is?" or, "I called up the police, swore that you stole my car, then showed some nekid pictures of you down at the bar, then I pointed out the part of me that you used to kiss and if that ain't love what is?" Like I say, if you understand it's a joke and you take it the way it was intended you'll love it.
There are some other songs on the album that aren't funny, but are more along the lines of the stuff you are used to hearing Bobby play and they're good too.
Like I say, this is an album from my younger days and it brought back lots of fun memories. To me, it's timeless.

- Rollicking Good Time
I had the vinyl album back when it was new. Not ALL the tracks are what I consider "outstanding Bobby Bare", but there are enough of them to make this a very good one to have. My personal favorites are "I Gotta' Get Rid of This Band"; "...Never Gone To Bed With an Ugly Woman..."; "Bathroom Tissue Paper Letter"; "Drinkin' & Druggin' and Watching TV"; and "Appaloosa Rider", although I'm probably forgetting some others. All in all, a great little CD to put you in the mood for a good party.
