This is an outstanding double disc CD. The first disc consists of Gospel Music Classics. The second disc consists of mostly ORINGINAL Gospel Songs written by Charlie, "Taz" DiGreorio, and others. All songs are performed by Charlie Daniels, along with backup musicians. Charlie puts his unique, "Southern Rock" and "Country" style into the songs he performs, making them very, very pleasant to listen to. Plus, he has that great "southern accent", that goes great with the songs that he sings. Disc 1 consists of 12 great Gospel classics, and disc 2 consist of 12 "new", ORIGINAL songs written by Charlie & others. Both disc are outstanding!!!
In the liner notes to the cd set, Charlie states "I felt that there were a lot of people out there who were falling through the cracks - who didn't understand the simplicity of the salvation message, and I hoped that I could communicate with some of them".
He dedicates the 2 disc albums to Dr. Billy Graham, who has spent his life leading lost souls to the foot of the cross.
