His three biggest hits are here in their original forms, but aside from that, the rest is pretty much non-charting filler.
Brings back memories and it is so nice to have it at the touch of your hand! Thanks so much!
This is one of a great many Super Hits compilations. This contains the obvious Behind Closed Doors, The Most Beautiful Girl, and A Very Special Love Song (not a random love song, but the title of the song itself), as well as My Elusive Dreams (somewhat vital). It also has On My Knees (a duet with future star Janie Fricke), as well as the modest/minor successes Life's Little Ups And Downs, A Woman Left Lonely, Set Me Free (all should've been big hits, don't you think?) and Spanish Eyes (the only bad song on here; listen only if you're from the South, which I'm not). The only real filler here is Pieces Of My Life, which isn't bad at all; it's a great tune in fact, but there should've been a real hit there instead, like I Take It On Home, I Love My Friend, Every Time You Touch Me (I Get High), or Rollin' With The Flow! Overall, great cassete (again, don't remember how to spell)! P.S. The review is on the tape, but if you look at the other release with the same cover (not CD) and find my review, you'll see that I made an error posting the review at the CD section, but I'm only human.
I originally purchased this for my 70 yr old mother as a gift. We listened to it together in the car and I enjoyed it so much I downloaded it to my IPOD !
