Clay Walker Album: “Live, Laugh, Love”
Description :
The ladies sure love Clay Walker, and LIVE, LAUGH, LOVE, his fifth album, shows why. In songs like "She's Always Right" and "Woman Thing," Walker portrays himself as a sensitive guy who's alternately baffled and amused by his girlfriend's "womanly" qualities (liking chocolate, crying at movies, shopping, talking on the phone), but who's utterly powerless to resist them. In the rockin' "Cold Hearted," Walker is again powerless, this time in the face of a girl's sexuality. <p>But amidst all this female-friendly material, LIVE, LAUGH, LOVE finds Walker reaching new heights as a vocalist. He gives the performance of his life on the passionate ballad "Once in a Lifetime," and wrings the emotion out of every word in his version of Earl Thomas Conley's hit "Holding Her and Loving You." Other highlights include "Chain of Love," with a payoff that's sure to give a listener goose bumps, and the joyous stomp "It Ain't Called the Heartland (For Nothin')." On the Mexican-flavored title track, Walker sounds like he's having a ball singing about living life to its fullest. But as Walker, who has multiple sclerosis, yells out "carpe diem" over the fadeout, the message of this deceptively simple song really hits home.

- Clay Walker presents a well balanced album.

"Live Laugh Love" is a wonderful release. While all the songs are excellent one tune stands out, "The Chain Of Love". I'd reccommend the whole album for that one song. Clay's pure country and I'm glad he is!

- A Complete Album!

Clay Walker's album Live, Laugh, Love is exactly right. The album has real life meaning in "If A Man Ain't Thinking('Bout His Woman)". You can laugh and dance to the title song "Live, Laugh, Love". And you can feel the love to "The Chain of Love". All together this has got to be his best album and one of countries best album.

- He did it again!

As a country music fan, I started listening to Clay when I started listening to country in 1993. Each album tops the last. He's got a traditional sound with a great pop twist. His love songs are beautifully written, as well as performed. The more I listened to his music, the more I loved it. You can hear the heart and soul he puts into every song. He's the complete package. He loves performing, he's a devoted husband and father, and he is genuine. All of which makes him sexy. I spoke with the DJ in charge of events at the biggest country station in the mid-atlantic. He said out of all the music artists he spoke with and met, Clay was the easiet to talk to. He loves what he does, and it shows. If you love music with heart, Clay is definitely the way to go!

- What a way to live, laugh and love

A very awesome CD. From the 1st song, "She's Always Right", to the last, you will enjoy what you're hearing. My favorites are "Holding Her And Loving You", and the amazing song, "Chain Of Love", and of course the upbeat song "Live, Laugh, Love". But I feel that all of them are excellent. I highly reccomend this CD. Some CD's are worth owning, and very rarely do you find those CD's anymore, but this one is worth every penny. I only review CD's that are truly worth my time, and I assure you, this is Absolutely one of the best!
