Great music for an amazing guy who ended his career way to soon. Love his music. One of my favorite recording artists.
When I was in my early 20' s I loved to listen to the words and the voice of Conway. When I seen this to buy I thought it was a good deal for what you get.
He was my favorite country singer. His music and his voice had passion in music. He is an Icon in the CountryMusic ckommunity.

This is a re-mastering of some of Conway Twitty's Greatest Hits. Conway Twitty recorded mainly for MCA and had 78 top 10 records of which at least 50 were number ones and there were numerous gold and platinum records, if we had to count everything that made it to the top 100 I'm sure that he'd have over a hundred songs. His music was ever changing from rock and roll, rockabilly, country, to a country rhythm and blues. He changed his music style as the music's popularity was changing from one phase to another. Conway Twitty has had more number one songs than any other music artist in history.
This CD is a good representation of some of his best songs, along with a companion CD Volume 2 you should get a good cross section of Conway Twitty's life's work. Later in his career he recorded for Warner Brothers where he scored at least 10 more number one songs. Conway Twitty was a workaholic and had many business failures, but his music was always a top notch performance.
There are 10 songs on this CD and they are very well-recorded as the re-mastery has brought out more depth to the music and the blending of both voice and the back ground music is well-engineered. This is a Curb records label from Nashville, Tennessee, all songs I believe are now published by Sony Tree Publishing Co. There are several records of Conway Twitty's songs I found that this CD does bring out a very strong foot print of the music. The stereo re-mastering has brought out the vocal and cleaned the music in the back ground. There is genuine reproduction with precise depth gradation, original dynamic and some unique natural tonal colors. The re-mastering gave this recording a better spatial dimensionand the artistic interpretation is very evident, thus giving these recordings a naturalness along with a vividness.
I bought this CD years ago, but it somehow got scratched. I was so glad that I found it on Amazon.com. If you like Conway, this is a must have CD. He is the Greatest.I highly recommend this CD.
