<p>Conway Twitty sang relatively few love songs, so this well chosen collection, recorded between 1967 ("Walk Through This World With Me") and 1981 ("Lovin' What Your Lovin' Does to Me"), represents pretty much the cream of the crop. It also makes a strong case for Twitty's artistic vision having been in place from the beginning.
<p>Despite the changes in technology, the songs here sound like they were recorded at one marathon session rather than over nearly two decades. Highlights include two duets with Loretta Lynn, and "Kiss an Angel Good Mornin'," which, deservedly, was one of his signature tunes.

- Endearing
I have listened to this CD previously by someone else. I couldn't wait to purchase it for my husband. He is one true cowboy and listening to Love is the Foundation is a mellow and soothing song. Loving What Your Lovin Does to Me and It's a True Love exactly explains how we feel for each other after many years of marriage. I know we will enjoy it together. All the songs on this CD will entertain many cowboys & cowgirls who are very much in love with expressions such as the ones played and sang by Conway Twitty. - conway twitty love songs

I bought this CD for some of his early hits that are not on his later CD's.His early hits are excellent!! - Conway Twitty - Love Songs
I am a die hard Conway fan since I was in Elem. school. I try to buy everything he has ever put out. To me now over 5 decades later he is still #1, the best vocal range of anyone I have ever heard.
This is another one of his many BEST! But then I think everything he did was his best. He was also a man who never forgot his roots or his fans.

- Lacking essential song
The original "LOVE SONGS" by Conway had the title song "I'd Love To Lay You Down". In this copy version the song was missing...a gret disappointment! |
