Deana Carter Album: “The Chain”

Deana Carter Album: “The Chain”
Description :
Though she has preferred to maintain her own career as a singer-songwriter without riding her father's coattails, Deana Carter recognizes, like many others, that her father, Fred Carter Jr., has been one of the finest studio musicians in Nashville from the 1950s on, and one of the key architects of country-rock, thanks to his work with Bob Dylan, the Band, and others. THE CHAIN is Deana Carter's tribute to her father, a heartfelt covers album consisting solely of famous songs that her father played on, such as Simon and Garfunkel's "The Boxer" and Neil Young's "Old Man."

- Hard to tackle covers. Well done.

Well done. It is hard to cover classics like The Weight. And kudos to Ms. Carter for involving legendary artists.

- Deana Carter

I enjoyed all the selections on this CD. She collected all my favorites both songs and singers to sing with. I recommend it.

- Yaaaaaaaawwwwwnnn!!! Please do something original

Most creative artists have run into a creative roadblock. They take the easy way out and release boring cover tunes instead of rleasing good quality music. I don't like to buy cover tune albums. They shown no creativity. don't waste your money
