- Good Bye Earl
The Chicks hit it with this song. If this song strikes a note with a person in an abusive situation, perhaps it will save their sanity!
Women of the world unite.
A slug does not deserve to live.
It's - Country and Rock

- Country music that rocks!
"Goodbye Earl" is a great good humored, "have fun and let loose" song; the Dixie Chicks really know how to add a little kick into the country music genre and get away with it. This song symbolizes girl power and how well women work together and how they're always there for each other; kind of a good song for women because it's appreciating girl power. On their cover, "Stand By Your Man", the girls really SHINE. I have never heard country vocals so beautiful. They harmonize wonderfully.

- The millenium chicks
This song gives alot of women back the dignity they've lost from thier "Earl", and gives them streangth to fight back. (Not in a crimanal way of corse).

- Never eat black-eyed peas!
Here it is, the source of commotion all the wife abusers were all fired up about. In it, the woman who is being abused, along with her best friend's help, kill her soon to be ex-husband. But it's so much MORE than that. It's FUNNY, people. And I hardly think we need to ban kids from it beacuse of the "Violence" in it. It's a light-heatered alternative to actually killing your husband. Turn this on and you'll feel 100% better about whatever has been bugging you! The tune, Natalie's powerful vocals, the fun video and the humor in the song brought the Chicks into the spotlight, where they belong, once and for all.

- Hilarious
What a funny song. I love the chorus and the part about the missing person that noboby missed at all.
People are trying to take this song off the air because they think it promotes killing! These are the same airheads who are trying to ban Harry Potter.
check out the video with Jane Krakowski, Lauren Holly and Denis Franz!
