- Dolly is the greatest country singer
I love country music, and Dolly is pure country. This CD includes all of Dolly's older hits. Some of my favorite tracks on this CD are: Islands In The Stream (classic duet with Kenny Rogers), Two Doors Down (a very fast country hit), & Do I Ever Cross Your Mind (slow and very meaningful.) Dolly sounds very beautiful on the entire disc. She is a true legend and the greatest!!! By the way, does anyone know of any Dolly CD that includes: Bargain Store, Two Doors Down, Jolene & Joshua all one 1 CD?

- A Dirty, Dirty Title.
Though the songs are great, the title of this collection coupled with that picture of her, back arched like that, make me quake. Who's that keeping Kleenix in business? It's me! It's me! Say this aloud: Dolly Parton's Greatest Hits. Again! Louder! Oops! Gotta go.

- Dolly playing it safe
I must agree with the Amazon review. This is Dolly playing it safe, and Dolly is always best when she pushing the envelope a little and keeps in touch with her roots. Pass.
- Just a handful of hits, maybe a bit more.
Yes this is a pretty skimpy collection. On the grading scale I'd give it a D+. However it was released in the vinyl era when 9-12 tracks was the norm. What's here is all impressive stuff, but obviously there's bigger/better and more well-rounded collections out there at this point. Where this album does stand out though is the cover photo. I mean...is that a tight red sweater in a shower? Was this marketed towards men or what? Might as well be called Greatest T*ts.
- Best Of Dolly Volume 3, technically
This is part of the essential Dolly collection that includes the missing hits, Applejack and Me And Little Andy. This version is the Original release before the Christmas edition came out. Dolly collectors, this is one fore your collection !!! Enjoy and Stay 2nd :-)
