- Don at his peak with this 1981 release
That's right, this is a reissue of his 1981 album "Especially For You" which has been retitled for the budget CD, while I have the original CD issue of this album which I was lucky to find at my local Record Town today. The three huge hits on the album are "If I Needed You", which is a duet with Emmylou Harris and a cover of one of Townes Van Zandt's classics, "Lord, I Hope This Day Is Good" and "Miracles." Other standout tracks on the album include "Years From Now," which is a fan favorite which he still performs in concert to this day and "Fairweather Friends" which Johnny Cash was one of the co-writers of. This is a must buy for all Don fans and represents Don in his prime. Customer review - July 09, 2000

From the first song to the last this is a great CD. It became a favorite the first time I heard it. DW has a voice as smooth and sincere as a cool glass of lemonade on a sizzling summer day. We love ya' Don. God Bless You. - Don Williams CD music
