George Jones Album: “Best of the Best [1999 Federal]”

A great collection - although most of these songs are solo tracks. "Golden Ring" sums up "The President and the First Lady" as far as their marriage goes and there are other hits like "D-I-V-O-R-C-E" and "He Stopped Loving Her Today." Check out George's effective, bluesy vocal on "Things Have Gone To Pieces," wriiten by Leon Payne, who wrote "Lost Highway" and "They'll Never Ever Take Her Love From Me" for the mighty Hank. Good album and will make you dig for more.
