with the exception of "The Door" {#1/1974}, "Loving You Could Never Be Better" {#2/1972} and the 1977 remake of "She Thinks I Still Care", the remaining seven hits are from the '80s, the era i grew up listening to his songs. "I Turn To You" hit #26 in mid 1987, it was a follow-up to early 1987's #8 hit "The Right Left Hand". I don't know why Epic replaced that Top-10 with the Top-30 hit...that's the only problem. "Wine Colored Roses" {#10/1986}; "I Always Get Lucky With You {#1/1983}; "Radio Lover" {#62/1989/originally recorded in 1983}; "Shine On" {#3/1983}; "I'm a One Woman Man" {#5/1989}; and "Still Doin' Time" {#1/1981} are all top-notch. "Radio Lover", incidentally, was recorded in 1983 for the now-obscure 'Jones Country' album. Epic re-released the song in 1989 backed with "Burning Bridges", another 1983 song. Those two songs were added to George's 1989 'One Woman Man' album on Epic as filler material originally. This "Super Hits, Volume Two" is of course a must-have if you've got Volume One.
This is a very good CD. Although I like the other ones I have
