Disco de George Jones: “God's Country: George Jones and Friends”

This CD is the best of the best of TRUE country music singers. These are people who when you hear them on radio, you know who you are listening to. Every cut on this CD is great and the title cut by George Jones is a wonderful song that should be heard by everyone on the radio. Sammy Kershaw's cut of "He Stopped Loving Her Today" is truly beautiful considering that this song was George Jones' biggest song and has to be the most difficult for any singer to even think of re-making. But Sammy Kershaw has done the Possum proud with "He Stopped Loving Her Today." I love Pam Tillis on "Take Me" and Vince Gill does a great job on "She Thinks I Still Care." The bonus of this CD is getting the DVD on the making of this CD. Love getting a chance to see the "behind the scenes" view of how an album gets made. Thank you Category 5 for putting this fantastic tribute to George Jones together!

More George would have been better, however, still a great cd. Joe Diffie can sing "White Lightning" all day to me. He does a fine work on the two duets as well. All arrived in great shape, came early, and would use the affiliate again.
