Musicians include Matt Betton, David Hungate, Billy Joe Walker, Jr., Mark O'Connor, Larry Byrom, Mike Lawler, John Jarvis, Glen Campbell, T. J. Kuenster, and Craig Fall. Background and harmony vocals: Steve Wariner, Emmylou Harris, Curtis Young, Lee Greenwood, Glen Campbell and Willie Nelson.
As you can see from the songs, songwriters, and musicians represented, Campbell is truly in his element. Campbell provides the smoothest synthesis between country and pop-rock, but his emphasis is country music. The title song and "For Sure" reunite Campbell with Jimmy Webb. Campbell is the premier interpreter of Webb's beautiful and haunting love songs. "I Remember You" closes the album, and its a beautiful standard with excellent vocals by Campbell.
This is such a great album! I don't understand why it is not being printed anymore but I do understand why it is hard to find as it is a great collection of songs.
This album is my family favorite. My family grew up with this tape in the car on every vacation. We love every song, even though some are covers, such as "I remember you." I think this should be rereleased with new ads. It is a very underrated album. I cannot say enough good. We bought it for "There ought to be a hall of fame for mamas." However, we found every song to be a winner. Hopefully all the songs can be bought digitally.
