- 31 Rare Overdubs/Alternate Demos on this 8-volume set!

Okay, you can't collect everything Frank Sinatara recorded during his 60-year career (there's way too much!). But you CAN collect everything Hank Williams recorded during his short, 6-year career. You'll need this 8-volume set. The 31 rare overdubs/alternate demos are to found nowhere else--not even on the COMPLETE HANK WILLIAMS set. This c.d. is one of the lesser of the series, with only one rare track, an alternate version of "The Angel of Death." This track was also used on the Hank Williams c.d., ALONE AND FORSAKEN. But the track can be found nowhere else but these two places.

- Volume 6 of the 1985-1987 Chronological Series on PolyGram

During the mid-1980s, PolyGram produced the eight-volume chronological set of Hank Williams, utilizing 25 tracks not found on the 1998 COMPLETE HANK WILLIAMS. This set is one of the lesser cd's in the series but nevertheless has three tracks found nowhere else--

(1) An alternate demo of "Alone and Forsaken" which is different from the one on THE COMPLETE HANK WILLIAMS. Actually, the track is found one other place--on the ALONE AND FORSAKEN cd.

(2) "I Can't Escape from You," reprocessed to sound completely new and which is much clearer than the version on THE COMPLETE...

(3) "The Prodigal Son," reprocessed like #2, above. Don Helm's steel guitar is all over the place.
