- Jake Owen is Refreshing

I bought Jake Owens first CD and loved it, couldn't wait until this CD was released. "Easy Does It" is great! His southern drawl makes it his own. His style of country music is laid back and refreshing. Something new!

- Great Sophomore Album

I loved Jake Owen's first album and his second doesn't disappoint! If you're looking for a great song, "Nothing Grows in Shadows" is outstanding! I listen to this CD whenever I can.

- Jake Writes of Love

Jake never makes a bad album, and his songwriting is improving by leaps and bounds. There are only two songs on this album where he's not a co-writer, and I think those two are not as strong. His songs are almost always about love in one or another of it's many incarnations, and there's almost always an ocean nearby, so get your suit on, grab a towel, and be ready for a good time!

- Great CD!

Bought this CD as "a long shot" because I liked a couple of songs that I'd heard from it. Turns out, it's the only one that I really want to listen to right now. It's a great recording -- rich, colorful, great bass, clear vocals -- a true quality production. If you've got a nice sound system, it is REALLY impressive which makes the whole listening experience all the more enjoyable. I wasn't that familiar with Owen, but I find that I really like his style. It's one of the best CDs I've picked up in a while now.
