- Good Ol' Jerry Reed

This is the closest cd you'll find to discover the talents of the guitarsit, song writer, singer, and actor Jerry Reed. All his hits are here save a few omissions. His 1983 duet with Waylon Jennings "Hold On I'm Comin'", a remake of the old Sam & Dave hit, was a top twenty C&W hit but isn't here. Nor is "Redneck in a Rock N Roll Bar", "Texas Bound and Flyin'", "Patches", or "The Man With The Golden Thumb". But this cd will not disappoint anyone as all the big hits are here. Jerry Reed was a huge talent.

- Jerry Reeds Best

I met the man once and he impressed me - one word...OUTGOING - treated me like his long lost nephew. The songs are great and no sad ballads are here - all up tempo and a big thanks to the seller!

Funny, great music - Jerry Reed is someone you'd want to have at your BBQ! Love this collection and his understated talent just makes him and his music even better!

- Jerry - You're HOT!

I will admit there are some songs on this disc I've never heard before but the really well-known ones (like Lord Mr. Ford and the theme from Smokey and the Bandit) are beautifully done and true examples of Jerry Reed's genius. If you like Mr. Reed, I think you'll enjoy this disc - it's worth buying.
