- Great introduction to Jim's music
Jim's hit career was more complicated than most, because he had different hits in different countries. So, depending on which country you live in, the tracks you regard as essential will vary. This particular collection is an Australian compilation (Legendary Jim Reeves), re-packaged for release in Britain with a modified title (Legends), which itself has been re-packaged again.
I have no knowledge of Australian charts, but this collection appears to contain some of his big American hits as well as some of his big British hits, so it includes something for everybody, although it ignores his early music - anybody looking for Bimbo or Mexican Joe will not find them here.
Everybody has their own favorites, but here you will find Distant drums, He'll have to go, I won't come in while he's there, I guess I'm crazy, There's a heartache following me, Snowflake, I love you because, Welcome to my world, Adios Amigo, Is it really over, This is it, Blue side of lonesome and so much more - 50 tracks in all.
For a definitive collection of Jim's American hits, buy the double-CD Anthology. The definitive British hits collection is a different double-CD titled Gentleman Jim. This compilation contains many excellent songs, regardless of which country they were hits in. As such, it makes a wonderful introduction to Jim's music.

- The Best Single CD Set of Jim Reeves
If you love Jim Reeves, you won't regret buying this 3 CD set. It has almost all of his greatest songs on this one giant collection. If you could only have one CD (or CD set) of Jim Reeves, This CD set is the one you must own.
- Legends/ Jim Reeves
Get it/buy it/ and enjoy it. Nothing like his voice. He remains a fabulous singer even though he has been gone for years, wonderful time listening to him/ I just relax and wished for more and do have more as I own all his cds and even cassettes, and would still buy more if available.. Never can go wrong with the Jim Reeve's voice.
