The smooth sound of Jim Reeves has lived on long after his death in a plane crash in July of 1964. This disc is just a little sample of Jim's catalog of favorites. Distant Drums" from 1966 went to number 1 and his rendition of "Blue Canadian Rockies" is just so beautiful it brings a tear to your eye. Jim Reeves had one of the best voices there ever was and this is from a fan who is only 35. Great sampler!!
What can I say....nothing to top his singing voice, when it comes to good country or any other type of music, that is. His voice is one to never forget and who wants to,,,,not me for sure... Love this cd and all of his others
