Análisis (en inglés) - AMG :
Jo Dee Messina's third release with Curb, Burn is a riveting collection of 11 songs guaranteed to make even the faintest of heart feel energized. Byron Gallimore and Tim McGraw throw their hats into the ring again as co-producers putting out an album that speaks volumes to Messina fans. "Downtime," the album's lead track, is an upbeat song about needing a little space in order to mend a broken heart; "Burn," the title track and one of the album's slower songs, is about being what you want to be in life; the soulful "Bring on the Rain" is the culmination of the McGraw/Messina friendship with McGraw singing background vocals about those days in life when you're feeling like everything's going wrong; and perhaps part auto-biographical is "Dare to Dream," a snappy song with lyrics like "Live, love, seize the day, and dare to dream." Having taken two years to make this album was worth it; the third time's a charm. [The album's bonus-track edition featured a remix of "That's the Way."] ~ Maria Konicki Dinoia, All Music Guide
