Disco de Kenny Chesney: “All I Need to Know”
Descripción (en inglés) :
Personnel: Kenny Chesney (vocals); Don Potter (acoustic guitar); Brent

Rowan (electric guitar); "Cowboy" Eddie Long (steel guitar); Joe Spivey

(fiddle); Terry McMillan (harmonica, percussion); Bobby Ogdin, Phil Naish,

Barry Beckett (keyboards); Michael Rhodes (bass); Eddie Bayers (drums);

Dennis Wilson, Curtis "Mr. Harmony" Young, Harry Stinson, Ricky Skaggs (background vocals).

Kenny Chesney may seem like just another one of the many young up'n-comers on the country scene, but his talent as a songwriter sets him above the many other faceless honky-tonkers polluting Nashville. On ALL I NEED TO KNOW, Chesney wears his influences prouder than most--the old-fashioned artistry of George Jones and Merle Haggard can be heard in most of his songs, as can the rock-edged sensibility of Charlie Daniels.

The up-tempo, spirited "Fall In Love" is typical of his fresh "boots and roots" sound. His metaphorical ballad "Tin Man" is about the need to protect oneself from the pain of a broken heart, while the countrified hoe-down "Someone Else's Hog" is a humorous look at marrying into money. Things turn sensitive with "Grandpa Told Me So," a tender ballad about the interplay of generations on which Chesney delves into the same emotions Keith Whitley so effectively captured in his music.

Through the fiddle and steel instrumentation, down-home sentiments and the Tennessee catch in his voice, ALL I NEED TO KNOW accurately captures the spirit of traditional country.

- Kenny's World
I'm slowly becoming a Kenny chesney fan. He's sort of becoming my favourite country male singer. I started off with "No Shoes, No Shirt..." and it took awhile to become more accoustmed to Kenny's style of voice. After hearing his album for awhile I got used to it, and slowly became a fan. I was then intrigued enough to start venturing into his other albums, and I found this one at Tower for a good price. I really like this album alot. It has alot of depth and heart. Kenny's voice has alot of soul in it, and sometimes I hear a hint of sadness in it, which makes it more interesting to listen to. There have been times where certain songs made me cry because I was feeling his pain. My favourite song off here is "The Tin Man". The lyrics are so beautiful and his voice is right on. My other 2 are "Granpa" and "Me and you", a classic country ballad. You can best beleive I will search out other Kenny Chesney albums, he's a great artist.

- Late review but this is one of Kenny's BEST!
This is one of my favorite KC albums. There's a lot of fun up-tempo tracks including my favorites "fall in love" and "honey would you stand by me" and it also contains some of his best ballads in "all I need to know" and "me and you". From beginning to end you will totally enjoy this CD. You will never be disappointed with a Kenny Chesney album. Get them all!

If you are a big fan of Kenny, these are great old songs of his when he first began. If you are a fan of his more recent music, one might not appreciate the stronger country flavor of this cd. I love all of his stuff. It shows his evolution in his career.
- Great Country Music
Kenny Chesney is a very talented artist, who is sometimes overlooked and underrated in country music. Many people in fact think of him still in 2001 as a "new" artist, but his debut was out in 1993, and this is his second album, titled All I Need To Know. The album is a nice country album with his beautiful smooth country voice. These are some of his best songs. Key tracks include Fall In Love, Grandpa Told Me So, All I Need To Know and The Tin Man. If you arent familiar with his older music like this album, I suggest you give it a try. Hes a great singer.
