Disco de Kris Kristofferson: “Best Of Kris Kristofferson”

this appears to be a story of kris's life done in song with others to help take the heat. Kris has always been able to write. What a talent. His music of life truly gets me into feeling as if I'm there with him. Each song seems to have been a part of him. Kris writes of life as he lives it. Hard and direct. This album will undoubtedly be a standard for all of his music and it will stand the test of time.

At 35 minutes this is very slight budget collection that includes a few of Kristofferson's early hits, circa 70 / 71 (and one from '79) , but you won't have to try hard to come across a better collection of his work. I ended up with this for about a dollar and I probably over paid. Kristofferson deserves better.

I love this mans music. I like listening to his voice. The album has great songs. Most I remembered, For The Good Times, is a particular favorite of mine. Some I had forgotten, for example, Jody and the Kid. Kris has the guts to do what most of us dream of. I heard him on an interview once saying, he knew he didn't sing well when he started, but he had kids to feed and so he just went on up on that stage and sang anyway. A prolific song writer with all the right words. Thanks Kris, for sharing your music with us all.
