- Can CDs Wear Out?

If they can, my copy of this album is going soon. Rimes brings her incredible vocal range to the Gospel field with memorable renditions of old favorites and songs soon to be classic. For example, she ends "I Believe" with a high note few singers would dare or listeners resist. "Ten Thousand Angels Cried" makes a fine addition to the popular inspiration category. Hearing her version of the National Anthem makes me want to insist that only Rimes open every baseball game from here on out. I'm writing my letter today demanding a reissue of a CD that lifts the heart and brings tears to the eye.

- LeAnn Lights Up My Life

LeAnn Rimes is the only person in this universe who would get away with releasing this song and making it a great success. The talent Rimes' has is as evident as ever in this song... if you loved the original, then you'll love this, if you haven't heard the original, then you'll love this even more!!.... Always Mirren.

- LeAnn is the BEST!

Of all the songs she has done, this is one of my favorites. You can sing along to the simple lyrics, and the music is relaxing. Its a great one to add to your collection.

- Didn't light me up

I love LeAnn.. incredible vocal talent.. always technically perfect. She does sometimes lack something more though. She is not gifted at making herself "felt" through her singing. You Light Up My Life suffers a bit for that. The occasional "twang" of steel guitar doesn't help either. Much better song here is I Believe. It saves the CD.
