Disco de Linda Ronstadt: “Blue Bayou And Other Hits [Remaster]”

For us boomers who grew up with Ronstadt this CD is a great piece of music. Her voice is as strong as ever along with the easy listening music. I highly recommend it.

I enjoyed Blue Bayou when it was featured in the movie, Man On Fire.

It was Creasy's (Denzel Washington's) favorite song in the movie.

Early on I acquired several vinyl LPs of Linda's.

And over time I have purchased tapes and CDs of the same favorites.

I am happy to have this as part of my collection, which is now morphed into digital format.

I bought if for the Blue Bayou song, but the rest is pretty good too.

Just purchased this through a sub vendor that sells on Amazon. I love Linda's voice, and never tire of it. A lot of younger people, like my daughter, have never had the pleasure of hearing this great and unique voice. I owned Blue Bayou back in the day, and I wore it out on my turntable. Now, I have a CD, near immortal compared to vinyl. Highly recommended!

The only song on this album I liked was Blue Bayou the title track. I recommend you buy her album Hummin'to Myself. It this one she goes from ballads to Blues to Rock. It also has some really great backup players, including a really great bass player. I play this album over and over. I will keep Blue Bayou album just for this song. But I was really disappointed in the rest of it.

Of course I purchased this mainly for the title song - Blue Bayou - which happens to be close to my all-time favorite nostalgic song.

Enjoyed Linda and the musical score but noticed that at times, the music/instruments sounded a tad tinny, similar to the Readers Digest's albums if you've ever ordered any of those. Still good and sure serves my purpose.

The price was excellent and the delivery was very timely - no problems there.
