Loretta Lynn Album: “Number 1's”

Loretta Lynn Album: “Number 1's”
Description :
Audio Remasterer: Mark Omann. <p>As the title suggests, NUMBER ONES is a straightforward collection of Loretta Lynn's #1 country hits from the 1960s and '70s, the period when she was arguably the most famous woman in country music. Lynn certainly had the most clearly defined persona of her time and place: not just a "Coal Miner's Daughter" from Hurricane Mills, Tennessee, Lynn was country music's first true feminist, recording controversial yet true-to-life hits like "Rated X" and "One's on the Way" when such things were still frowned upon by many in the country music community. Add in tough, trash-talking fighting songs like "You Ain't Woman Enough To Take My Man" and "Fist City," and NUMBER ONES is the definitive collection of Loretta Lynn's best-known material.

- good Music, Sucky packaging

You either like Lorretta Lynn or not. So, not an issue. But, the packaging is another story. Just like eco toilets, you know, low flush volume so you have to flush twice, eco packaging isn't really the best. The CD doesn't want to stay put in the case. Plus, or minus, your call. I guess if you put the CD in a cassette for use in you CD player it really doesn't matter. But, if you are always changing CDs, you're going to scratch it.
