- Two Great Hits Don't Add Up to Two Great Albums
Aside from the hits "Paper Roses" and "In My Little Corner of the World" (which were covers of hits), Marie Osmond's first two albums are hard to enjoy all the way through. Its not that Marie Osmond is a terrible singer, the arrangements just don't compliment her voice that well. All sentimentality aside, Marie Osmond wasn't the wunderkind that her brothers were. While she had a pretty voice, her renditions of some of these songs come across as vapid. Highly recommended to people who grew up on this music and have a warm place for it but newbies in the 21st century might be a little alienated. - Marie's First Two Albums
These are pretty good albums with decent cover versions of many songs. Her adult albums were better but these are very good. - Marie Osmond
I have had the pleasure of seeing this person live in concert that was back in the 80's and the opening act was at the time John Schneider of the Dukes Of Hazzard theme they both was wonderful. Marie is great country music artis and i wish that I had been born into that family now I'm saying that they don't have any problems cause they do but just think if you were born in the Osmond family then you could be calling her aunt or sister keep up the great work Marie and in my opion she won the dancing with the stars.
