- One of a kind, and the best
If you have never been to a Martina concert, this CD and DVD will show you what the buzz is all about. Why she hasn't been nominated for the Entertainer of the Year is beyond me, hopefully that will change soon. You get 28 songs between the CD and DVD, there are many highlights, but "Where Would You Be" and "Broken Wing" will bring chills to you.
This is worth every penny...

- Flawless
Martina McBride is the premiere voice at country music and one of the best vocalists in music period. Soaring vocals on songs like "Where Would You Be" and "A Broken Wing" shows why she has won the CMA Top Female Vocalist Award four times (a record she shares with Reba McEntire). The DVD is a must-see as it shows just how powerful a McBride concert is. - At last those who don't know Martina will love her!
This cd dvd is almost as good as seeing her in person, the production is very well done and most importantly Martina comes across as a real human being, not a created celebrity or prima donna. The concert is awesome from beginning to end without any weak spot at all. As a matter of fact the cd left me wanting more. If you have never seen a Martina concert this is a must have! Beautiful, powerful voice and Martina's songs have meaning for today's crazy world. Not only is she a adorable performer, but all I have seen of Martina she is a great mother and person. What a great package from one of Country music's greatest female stars.Superb sound and picture quality from her recent tour,the DVD is basically a full live show. What a pity that us fans in the UK will not get to see her live unless we make a trip to the US---now there's a thought!!Still,we will just have to make do with this superb DVD. One small gripe is that there are only 8 tracks on the live CD of presumably the same show.Surely it would have been better to have put as many tracks on the CD as would fit, or is that being greedy!! Martina's versions of Gretchen Peters- Independence day,Pat Benatar-Hit Me With Your Best Shot, and Journey- Don't Stop Believin' are superb and worth the the cost alone.Buy without hesitation!!! |
