Mary Chapin Carpenter's new CD, which contains Simple Life was discussed on the local country radio station in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania with Mary Chapin Carpenter present. In addition to playing the title cut, they played numerous other songs from the CD. One song, swept away, was written by MCC about an out lover that she saw at the airport -- typical MCC fashion, excellent.
She is a wonderful writer and singer -- and carried herself wonderfully during the live interview on the Pittsburgh country radio station. This CD will be a hit -- it has been five years since she has produced something new -- and her fans will not be disappointed.
