- Old Crow NEVER lets ya down

Greetings From Wawa will really leave you loving OCMS if you don't already. The songs are different from most of their albums but not in a bad way. If you have ever seen them live you know what I'm saying. I recommend this to anyone who is fans of Gillian Welch, David Rawlings and Levon Helm

- I love hillbilly music

Early Old Crow stuff. Very rootsy, old school bluegrass with an emphasis on the old mountain classics, the kind of songs that were written by god knows who and lasted for generations in the south. Wonderful music that makes you want to sit out on your old rickety porch and drink moonshine under a huge yellow moon. Their newer stuff evolves and changes quite a bit from this, but no matter which style you like, OCMS can do no wrong.

- Old Crow Medicine Show

Old Crow Medicine Show is my favorite band, which I discovered by happenstance on during a performance at the Grand Ole Opry, while in Nashville for a family-related graduation from Vanderbilt University. I have every one of their albums [no, not MP3, albums] on which there is not a single not out of place.

I have other albums by the Old Crow Medicine Show. This is a great album.

- Horrible, Horrible Fidelity

I love Old Crow Medicine Show. I've seen them in concert 4 times and will see them many times in the future if given the opportunity. I have all of their music and love each of their other albums. I bought this CD in order to own even more music by a band I truly love to listen to. The problem with this CD is that the quality of the recording is about the equivalent of a 1969 analogue recording which has been transferred to CD without the benefit of it having been remastered. If you compare the quality of this CD to virtually any current CD, this recording will come up lacking horribly. The label for this CD is Blood Donor Records and that is fitting, as the quality (or lack thereof) is about equal to what you might be able to pay for if you sold your blood down at the local blood bank. Fortunately, all of the other OCMS CD's have a much better audio quality to them. The fidelity on this recording is so bad, it could be labeled "infidelity". Personally, I found the CD to be essentially unlistenable. I suggest your buying any and all of Old Crow Medicine Shows other CD's before wasting your money on this piece of crap. Your mileage may vary.
