- Pat Green at his best.
Pat Green's best so far! If you loved his past work, this will one will never leave your CD player. Pat won't be a "Texas" Artist for very long. Buy this one and you won't regret it.

- Good CD but ealier stuff is better!
Don't get me wrong. Carry on is great and has some great songs but a couple of his songs lack the rythme and pace of his ealier stuff. If you are new to Pat try George's Bar or Billy Bob's first and then move on to his newest! If your a true fan, you'll love it regardless!

- Come on, now...
True, this may not be as good as some of his other stuff, but I don't think it deserves just one star. With Nashville ... the only thing else to turn to, I'll stick with Pat.

- Texas Music at its Very Best
This album is to Pat's career what Hey You was to Jack Ingram's career. Green has grown as a song writer and as a musician, and this album definately is his best studio effort yet. The songwriting is purely Texas--Whitmans "Ruby's Two Sad Daughters" mentions high school football and Dairy Queen, whats more Texas than THAT? If you like Pat, then youll love this cd--this cd gets a spin every time I get into the car. If you like overproduced, top 40, Nashville anti-country-sounds-more-like-pop music, then you may be disappointed.
In Pat's words at a Waco show earlier this year--"I dont give a ____ if your tractor IS sexy, I aint gonna write no song about it." This cd is a must have--thats for sure.

- Not the best album he has had.
Pat Green's album "Carry On" isn't his best work, but a nice album none the less. I agree with other reviewers who say it doesn't deserve the bad rating that it is getting. It is most defiantly worth more the some of the one star reviews that it has gotten. My favorite track on the album is "Ruby's Two Sad Daughters" That track alone is worth the price of the album IMHO. Happy listening!
