Celebrity Taxpayers Alec Baldwin, Tara Reid Among Dozens Rocked by Alleged IRS Breach [Snoops]If you've ever wondered how far below the poverty line Tara Reid is living these days or what kind of child support Alec Baldwin doles out to Kim Basinger, there is a guy in Cincinnati named John Snyder who is living your dream right now. Illegally, of course, and maybe under threat of prison time, but still: Snyder, an IRS tax examiner, is accused of viewing the confidential records of 197 celebrities over the last five years, including Kevin Bacon, Sally Field, Vanna White, John Cleese, Portia De Rossi, Randy Quaid and even "the late Eddie Albert of the classic sitcom Green Acres." Eddie Albert! Has this man no shame? Maybe not, but you can bet he has a lawyer:Snyder was caught when authorities audited who was accessing personal and tax information stored on a federal database called the Integrated Data Retrieval Systems, according to the affidavit. Authorities said Snyder had access to the database, but works almost exclusively with business accounts and had no legitimate reason to review individual taxpayer accounts. ... Snyder, 56, faces up to a year in prison and a $250,000 fine at this time if found guilty of improperly accessing IRS data, a misdemeanor. Come on, now — if learning the closely guarded truth about how much Vanna makes to laugh at Pat Sajak's jokes and stroke huge letters for a few hours a week doesn't constitute a "legitimate reason" to bump around a tax database, we don't know what does. Andy Hallett, "Angel" Actor, Dies At 33LOS ANGELES — Andy Hallett, who made his mark playing green-skinned, good-guy demon Lorne on the TV series "Angel," has died of congestive heart disease. Hallett was 33. Hallett was taken by ambulance to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles after having problems breathing and died there Sunday, following a five-year battle with the heart condition, his agent Pat Brady said Tuesday. His father, Dave Hallett, was by his side. "Andy was the all-American boy from Massachusetts," Brady said. "He was a hoot. He was comfortable wherever he went. Girls loved him. He was a very gregarious, happy young man." Born and raised in Osterville, Mass., Hallett moved out to Los Angeles when he was 23 and worked as a messenger at a talent agency, said Brady. He went on to become an assistant to Joss Whedon's wife, Brady said. It was when Whedon saw the lanky Hallett perform karaoke that he had him audition for "Angel," a spinoff of Whedon's hit series "Buffy the Vampire Slayer." Hallett snagged the part of Lorne. Hallett proved himself a fan favorite on "Angel" as the show tune loving, red horned demon seer who runs the karaoke club Caritas and can read a person's aura when they sing, revealing their problems and futures. The series, starring David Boreanaz as the brooding vampire Angel, ran for five seasons on the WB network before it was canceled, ending in 2004. Hallett was diagnosed with his heart condition at the end of the show, said Brady, and had been in and out of hospitals for the past five years. He decided to concentrate on his own music, stepping away from acting. Hallett, an only child, is survived by his father Dave Hallett and mother Lori Hallett.

ginniehart:: Self-Portraiting :: Here's BUSOLA! (bu-SO-la) I could have titled this Lady's Man or The Charmer, because that's who he is. Well, let's just say all the single women talk about him as the Big Flirt. And I could tell you much more, but we'll leave it at that. He charmed the socks off of me a long time ago, so when we finally met at the SC meet-up this past Saturday, I felt like I had met my long-lost Nigerian son. I guess that means I've adopted you, Busola! Did you notice I'm in the Green ShMood on this one, Folks! Be gentle with me because this is my first ever collage and I still really don't have much of a clue! But I am gonna learn, by golly, even if it kills me (which it almost did yesterday), because it really is a fast way to get you many photos at once! Maybe by the end of this week I'll have it down pat. [Today I'm in Amsterdam.]

floogsfotos:: BURYING GHOSTS :: THE CAPILANO SUSPENSION BRIDGE NORTH VANCOUVER BRITISH COLUMBIA, CANADA SEPTEMBER 11th 2008 Little steps, big breaths, sweaty palms gripping metal strands that appear to be far too fragile to keep us air side up! Beating hearts and red, flushed skin tone signify the coming of the frightened herd, laughing as they do with fear etched across those furrowed brows, it feels as though we are swimming against the tide as we three stroll across nonchelantly with coffee cups in hand as though we'd be Gold medal winners if this were ever deemed an Olympic sport! The first time that I dragged Pat across this spectacular bridge, her face turned green and I had to quit the jokes and natural penchant for clowning about when I realised she was truly suffering. Now on our umpteenth visit, she struts across like a grinning Cheshire cat and my nephew receives business calls on his Blackberry as though this were his daily walk! We crack jokes about my last visit to the bridge eighteen months earlier, when I defied the boundaries of common sense and, through gritted teeth crossed the bridge on a pair of crutches just weeks after surgery. This homecoming meant so much to me, to walk freely, across the one hundred and thirty six metre long bridge, some seventy metres above the Capilano river and enjoy rather than endure. We traversed the sky walks high in the majestic forrest, and wandered high and low through tranquil splendour, burying the ghosts and paving the way for new and pleasant memories. And man, it felt good!
