I just received this cd in the mail today. While Patsy Cline died in 1963, a year before I was born, I have just now gained a huge respect for her music. I have been looking for complete compilations of her music. I recently purchased, Sweet Dreams, The Complete Decca Masters: 1960-1963. This was an amazing collection. So far I have been unsuccessful in locating a CD containing the complete 51 tracks from her Four Star Records recordings. I bought the 25 All-Time Greatest Recordings: The 4-Star Years,on the Varese Sarabande label and it was quite enjoyable. While the accompaniment was simpler than her Decca catalog, the sound quality was very good. Unfortunately, as happy as I was with the 25 All-Time Greatest Recordings: The 4-Star Years, I was just as unhappy with this cd. The cd sound quality is terrible. The tracks sound very tinny and unprofessional. Of course, at the heart of the music on this CD, is that unmistakeable Patsy Cline voice. Even with the poor quality of the CD, Patsy's voice still rings through loud and clear and shows why she is a legend still today. If you are a die hard Patsy Cline fan, you may want to purchase this CD, otherwise look for her older material that has been remastered on other collections.
