This 2006 release is a very good collection from Patsy's song catalog. This is not a 'Greatest Hits' item although but any song, sang by Cline is better than 99 percent now being records.
The good, sound quality is very good. Thinking Patsy's songs came from 1957 to 1963, the recording industry has really improved its technology and that has been implied here.
The not so good, 4 CD with only 12 songs and less than 30 minutes each. Smarter and ecology better would be 2 disc, [still less than 60 minutes each], smaller case, less inks, paper, half the plastic and Polycarbonate's etc. Just a smaller footprint on this earth. Note: I really dislike the recycled cardboard and foam CD cases I've seen and used. They can not handle USPS shipping at all or even day to day use.
The Bad, No liner notes, no song or running time for the album or disc. At 48 songs I still wish for more.
