if these 2 songs are an indication of how good the rest of the upcoming album is, then patty loveless has done it again. patty and husband emory gordy jr. have an unerring sense of how to pick songs and balance the pure, classic country sound while keeping it fresh. her voice is better than ever, the musicians are first rate, as always, and if you've come this far with patty, you won't be disappointed. this is one of, if not THE best female country singers just getting better. from a long time fan, this is among her best.

For those of you who know Patty as I know Patty, I need not explain to you the unique, incredible beauty of her voice. You know. For those of you who are not familiar with Patty, listen to her sing, listen to that voice. No one but no one has that voice! Patty's hauntingly beautiful mountain voice can and will rip your heart right from your chest. For those of us who do know Patty, all we can say is ... thank you God for bringing Patty to us. For those of you who are not familiar with Patty and her incredibly beautiful mountain voice, you know not what you are missing. Bottom line is ... Patty is THE BEST. She is THE BEST female country singer to ever make a record. Period!
