<p>A honky-tonk good time from one of country's most dependable acts, this self-titled set by the Randy Rogers Band shows the group at their best. Produced by new traditionalist country mainstay Radney Foster, RANDY ROGERS BAND features 12 tough, scrappy country-rock songs that eschew formulaic "all my rowdy friends" type cliches. As a result, songs like "Never Be That High," "When The Circus Leaves Town," and "Wicked Ways" at times sound like nothing quite so much as contemporary country's version of the early albums by Bruce Springsteen or Tom Petty.

- Randy Rogers Band should be famous.
This latest CD isn't their best, but it's darned good. The Randy Rogers Band doesn't get nearly enough attention.

If you like Texas Honky Tonk music, you'll love this CD. I've played in 20 times in the month I've owned it and still love it!

- Too good to pass by
While I agree with some of the reviewers, this is a good album by a good band. This may be an attempt to put their music out to other listeners besides us lucky Texans. I have listened to The Randy Rogers Band since their introduction and with every listen to this album I like them even more.
If you like Randy Rogers sound then get it without a doubt. We should all be so blessed if this should hit the "mainstream".
