- Great Voice
I saw him when he opened up for Barbara Mandrell back in 70's before he became famous on his own and I told my wife back then that he had a great future in music.I have most of his albums and love to hear him sing Gospel music.That concert was held at the nolonger Starlight Theater in Albany,Ny where I was A season ticket holder til it closed.I thought that it was one of the nicest stages as there wasn't a bad seat in the house and with revolving floor everyone got to see them perform with no hidden view. 1 personas de un total de 1 encontraron útil la siguiente opinión:
- Wonderful Old Time Church Songs
As a kid, My grandma used to take me to Pentacostal and Baptist churches in the deep south. These churches were all country and white clap-board. There was usually a pot-luck lunch under the trees after services. I was Baptised in an real river wearing a white robe when I was 10 and the fond memories are still vivid. That said, I know most of these songs from my childhood church experience and that's why I bought this album.
RANDY TRAVIS -- what's to be said? Amazing voice and amazing feeling in these songs. Love it.
