- I JUST FINISHED LISTENING TO THIS AND....
It is absolutely phenomenal. This is Classic Reba at her very, very best. "Suddenly There's a Valley" will give you chills and is by far the best thing on here...but all the songs are excellent!! Reba should record a gospel CD with this type of arrangement....clean, beautiful and not adorned with loud electric guitars, synthesizers, percussion or background vocals that drown her beautiful voice out. - GREAT STUFF!!
This CD is just wonderful! All the songs are intelligently produced, well written and crafted. It contains Reba's first top ten "You Lift Me Up to Heaven" as well as other dandies such as "I Don't Think Love OUghta Be That Way" and "I Can See Forever in Your Eyes". Used to be I would buy a Reba McEntire album and love every song on it!! This is one of those albums! You can't go wrong here with anything and Reba is just grand in some of the best material she has ever recorded including her first top ten "You Lift Me Up to Heaven". "I Can See FOrever in Your Eyes" with that beautiful Steel lick after the chorus is just enough to send chills up my spine!! A truly spectacular effort!! nury (miami, fl) - September 26, 2005
