- MY FAVORITE REBA ALBUM
The liner notes by Emmylou Harris and Loretta Lynn say it all here. Reba is the master of her game here and this is my favorite of all her albums. Every cut on here could and should have been a number one!!!!!!!!! The first one, "I'm In Love All Over" is a great country line-dance tune!! Its also a great song!! "She's Single Again" should have been a single but Janie Fricke beat her to the punch with her version. Reba outdoes Janie in every way. "Red Roses Won't Work Now" is just beautiful. "Have I Got a Deal For You" is Reba at her very traditional best!! "Only In My Mind" is Reba's contribution as a writer and really the first song she wrote that wasn't mediocre as she really is not a writer. This one made top five and it was well deserved. "She's the ONe Loving You Now" is another one penned by her and I love it!! The fiddle work on this great country shuffle is outstanding!!!!! "Whose Heartache Is this Anyway" is country the way it should be!! Clean and wholesome and real!! The rest of the tunes are equally fine. If you own only one Reba CD this should be the one!!!!

- have I got a deal for you revies
this cd is a traditional, uplifting cd. The tone of "she's single again" is such that it can lift a worn spirit and put one back in a good mood. reba uses her usual charm and character to form a complete, wonderfull collection!

- SUPERB
Long before she went pop on us Reba was the true singer of country songs ....unparalleled by anyone in the 1980s when she won the female vocalist of the year award four years in a row...something do other woman singer in country has ever done. And she could do it again if she would go back to singing the kind of songs she sings on this great album. This one..along with "MY KIND OF COUNTRY" and "WHOEVER'S IN NEW ENGLAND" are the prime Reba years. "WHAT AM I GONNA DO ABOUT YOU" is also a superb effort but things started to go downhill after that. She sold out and for this, it is country's loss. But this album is for the true traditionalists which Reba was a long, long time ago. Every song is a masterpiece but the real standout is "She's Single Again". Reba's version is far superior to Janie Fricke's version released that same year. Reba would surely have had a number one with this if she had had it released before Fricke. Two of Reba's songwriting collaborations are also included in this outstanding collection...her top five hit "Only in My Mind" and the very appealing "She's the One Loving You Now". If you like traditional country this is the album for you. If you like the later, pop oriented Reba then stay away from the steel and fiddles on this one.
