The Silver Eagle Country Concert radio series, which featured live performances by some of the greatest starts of Country Music, began on January 3, 1981. On the night of May 8, 1982, the performer was the one and only Roger Miller (1936-1992). This performance included some of Mr. Miller's greatest hits, including Dang Me, Old Friends, and King of the Road.
As for me, I found this to be a really, really good album! The song quality is quite good, except for some feedback during That's When the Loving's Done, which did not spoil the performance. If you like Roger Miller, then you will definitely like this album. If you can get it, get it!
