This DVD captures Steve Earles performance at Montreux solo playing just guitar or mandolin. A powerful performance and in between songs he lets the audience know how he feels about the state of the world and America in particular from a fairly unbiased view point. He talks about what his inspiration is behind a lot of songs and gives a meaningful and real performance. This is a must have for anyone who likes good music. - Raw and alone
