- Love's Old Country Music

This Greatest Hits of Tanya's mid-late 80's music is good. But there is at least one song miss from this Greatest Hits CD and that is the song "Call On Me." But over all this is a HIGHLY RECOMMENDED Greatest Hits CD from the late 80's.

- Great Songs from the Greatest Female Country Singer Ever

I have always been puzzled as to why of the five official Tanya Tucker Greatest Hits Albums, this one appears to lag behind the others in sales figures. These are all HUGE hits from her MCA days after leaving Columbia. The albums on which they are found were all big sellers for country music at the time. There are some really great songs on here everyone. Here's Some Love opens the set. It was a the title track from her very first #1 Country Album. There is a pop influence to several of the songs here but with Tanya it is always country. One of my favorite Tucker songs is the second cut, Ridin' Rainbows. Who could forget San Antonio Stroll, Don't Believe My Heart Can Stand Another You and the wonderful Dave Loggins penned You've Got Me To Hold Onto. The CD also includes the biggest pop crossover single of her career the PHENOMENAL Lizzie And The Rainman.. one of the greatest country songs ever laid down. Short Cut is wonderful, and one of the many hidden jewels on Tanya's 30 albums. It was actually released as a single in Japan at the time. In closing this is a HOT collection and well worth the price.

THIS REVIEW DOES NOT BELONG UNDER THIS GREATEST HITS COLLECTION. MY REVIEW HERE IS FOR HER MCA HITS..NOT HER COLUMBIA ONES.

- One Of Tanya's Best.

This Lady From The State Of Texas Started Singing Country Music At The Age Of 13. Some Of Tanya's Songs Are Sad Songs. My Favorites Are: "Strong Enough To Bend", "If It Don't Come Easy", "Just Another Love", And "One Love At A Time". This Is A Must Have.
