 Description :
Personnel: Terri Clark (vocals); B. James Lowry (acoustic guitar); Tom Bukovac, Brent Mason, Byron Gallimore (electric guitar); Dan Dugmore, Paul Franklin (steel guitar); Aubrey Haynie, Stuart Duncan (fiddle); Steve Nathan (piano, organ, keyboards); Glenn Worf, Mike Brignardello (bass guitar); Lonnie Wilson (drums, percussion); Cindy Walker, Lisa Cochran, Wes Hightower (background vocals).
<p>Canadian country singer Terri Clark --once again sporting her trusty ten-gallon cowboy hat on the album's cover--flirts with pop production on this 2005 outing, but she mainly keeps the tunes within the country-rock arena, a setting that best suits her powerful and emotive voice. Highlights on this assured album include the poignant title track and "Not Enough Tequila," a classic ode to the barroom.

- If I could......
As I live in a city in Mexico near U.S. I don'thave the opportunity to go to many concerts I wish I could, it would imply to spend a lot of money, the only possible way would be to wait until some of my favorite singers came to Texas... but that's not the point...
I have just bought this CD and all I can say is that almost every song in the album would be a great hit on the radio.
Some of my favorites on it are:
1. She Didn't Have Time
2. Not Enough Tequila and
3. Travelin' Soul

- Life Goes On
This album snapshots life. Some of the greatest moments--some not as great. The lyrics are a reflection of what we all think and what some experience. The heartfelt presentation of the ups and downs create a vibrant album that will have you singing the tunes and tapping the beats,as you reflect on your current situation. Even though there may not be enough tequila in Mexico, life goes on ,and it's sad and its sweet, and Terri will continue to create the great hits of our time. Thanks for some great tunes to reflect upon life, as it goes on.

- Strong Album
This is another great album by one of the only true female country music artist left in country music. Terri Clark juest seems to keep getting better with each new album she releases. There is not a weak track to be found on this CD either. A must have for any fan of true country music.

- Terri Clark finally sells out!
Okay, I give it 3 and a half stars, but considering that I would give everything else she has recorded either 4 and a half or five (well, in honest, fair comparison to all the other popular, contemporary artists out there), that is a slide down. Everything that was right about her career and style she seems to be disowning. I liked Pain to Kill, simply because I think no other guitarist/vocalist could have pulled a such a pop country album off with such sincerity, but I could read the handwriting on the wall. The people who had no appreciation for Fearless have basically forced her to record other people's crappy songs--oh, I'm sure that no one else could have sung them as well as she did here--and have basically made sure that she has no room to fly anymore. But I guess she wants to be a star now. There are a few good tracks off of this C.D, and at least it's entertaining. I don't want to seem harsh, but I think she needs a wake-up call. She is too good of an artist to be pandering to the blathering masses who think that "I wanna be mad" is the best thing she ever recorded. But whatever, five superb albums was way too many...and maybe this is just a rough spot. The guy who wrote the 1 star review was a little harsh, but at least he seems to be the only one of this bunch of reviewers who has a sense of what is good music. Although not exclusively a country fan, I tend to think that if you play within a certain genre, you should be 1.innovative 2.clever and 3.original going about it. These three things are all the things that contemporary country is not...and it makes me sick. I don't get upset if there are no banjos or fiddles, I just want something with artistic credibility. I hope Terri happens to be reading through these reviews and spot that she has upset a die-hard fan. I think she needs a kick in the pants for this C.D.
- Love it
Love Terri Clark and this cd is great. They only get better I will always buy her music because I am never disappointed.
