First let me say I love the Highwaymen and see them every chance I get, and have done so as recently as a few years ago; so it pains me to rate the CD so low. The reason why I am doing it, is because of the sound quality; there is no excuse for it. Even if the tapes are old they could have been leveled out. The applause sound even wavers, the dialogue between songs is so soft, that in order to hear it you have to turn the volume up and then jerk it back down for the song. This is doubly frustrating for the price and more so for a CD I was really looking forward to having and playing. Every song is here and the voices are great, it's just all the other sound quality that surrounds them that ruins this double CD.
