I am a fan of the Statler Brothers and the old time gospel music. Their four part harmony and the instrumental arrangements are great. The Statlers have won many well deserved awards for their music. I recommend both volumes one and two. 1 of 1 people found the following review helpful:
- Love The Statler Brothers

The Statler Brothers Gospel Music Volume 2 is quite likely the best gospel album I have ever got. I had a previous gospel album by the Statler Brothers and there were a couple of songs that were on both but listening to Whispering Hope, The King Is Coming, and His Eye is On The Sparrow are worth the cost of the entire album. I am tempted to place the CD in the folder where I keep my will and final arrangements just to have this music played at my funeral because it is music of such hope and joy. - My late father used to sing these songs with gospel quartets that visited a near-by town every summer.
Anyone who loves gospel music would certainly enjoy this CD. I choose this one because it had particular songs that my dad used to sing at gospel tent revivals each summer. My brand-new great granddaughter has already listened to the song about Noah and the ark... - I don't hate it, I just can't play itl would like to return it if possible..
Sorry, but I can't play this album because i only have a basic player, is it possible to return this and choose another album? |
